In conjunction with Batchelor Institute, trainer Brenton Dawes and Nyirrunggulung-RISE are working hard to increase our job seekers skill sets to let them have more opportunities with new employers in our region.

The participants are currently learning the skills to operate a Skid Steer Loader and Kanga Digger. While using the machinery the team are using their skills to level the ground and build garden beds around a newly moved building in Binjari.

The fellas also learned how to load and unload machines, changing attachments and the using laser level.

To finish off the new garden the team will be planting new trees and spreading mulch to help the garden. Thanks to all involved, you have done such a great job.
