It was a week of festivities from Sunday 3 – Sunday 10 July as we celebrated National NAIDOC Week 2022.
National NAIDOC Week is held annually across Australia, and it celebrates and recognises the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
NAIDOC Week 2022 gave a new generation of Australians an opportunity to learn about the First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of one of the oldest living cultures on earth.
Throughout the week we had members from our work crews and staff meet with our Job Seekers and celebrated together through BBQs, fun days and proudly walked side by side in hundreds in the Katherine NAIDOC March! A truly special moment to end another successful NAIDOC Week.
Thank you to all involved for getting up, standing up and showing up for National NAIDOC Week 2022.
