This week Sunrise Health Services organised for the BreastScreen NT team to hold a mobile Breast Screening week at Mataranka. Sunrise Health transported the ladies to and from their Communities.
Nyirrunggulung-RISE was asked to join in and provide activities to ladies while they were waiting for their breast screening appointment.
Business Manager, Tracy Beesley and Service Coordinator, Jessica Meek, gave out Share the Dignity bags to the women and kept them entertained by playing Bingo. They were so happy with their prizes of tea, milk, sugar, biscuits, a teaspoon and a cup.
The ladies from our Beswick and Barunga Connectivity Hubs enjoyed their day as well as ladies from Ngukurr Community.
