In the lead up to the famous Barunga Festival, Friday 12 August – Sunday 14 August, the Barunga Team have been working with the Roper Gulf Regional Council getting the community in top shape for the weekend of celebrations.
The annual Barunga Festival is a day for celebrating Indigenous community life through music, sport, culture and more. There are fantastic activities on the day for kids, delicious food, the best dry season camping around and more importantly a strong collaboration of culture.
Great work by the fellas for getting everything cleaned up, and for everyone involved for your teamwork and cooperation. The place looks amazing and it is set to be another memorable weekend.
