Pancake Day at Barunga

Nyirrunggulung-RISE acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognises their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to all First Nations people and their cultures, and to elders both past and present.

Our teams live and work on Jawoyn traditional land. This encompasses the lands of the Bagala clans on Duwa Country in Beswick and Barunga, the lands of the Dalabon, Rembarrnga and Mayili people in Bulman and the lands of the Binjari people in Binjari.
