Our work crews in Beswick are often on the tools so it’s very important that all our electrical and fire equipment is regularly checked for safety.
Geoff Crowhurst from Crowhurst Engineering came out recently to test and tag our gear. He was kind enough to spend time showing the fellas the process of testing and tagging equipment to make sure we are meeting all the safety standards.
We also learned about the hazards of faulty equipment and which tools are not safe to use.
About eight of our men showed great interest in this area, so maybe we will be able to offer test and tag training in the future.
Now we will get back to work knowing we are up to date with our safety tests on electrical and fire equipment.
