Staff act of kindness

A story about helping our community-based employees.

Anne-Marie and Kendrick are based in Beswick, but their two daughters, Tatiana and Kenita, are attending Boarding school in Melbourne. When the schools closed they sent all the boarders’ home but travel restrictions into remote areas meant that the two girls first had to self-isolate for 14 days.

As the girls were now separated from their parents, Jenna and Joanne offered to pick the girls up from Darwin and look after them in Katherine for the isolation period.

After isolation they were reunited with their Mum and Dad at a roadblock exchange.

Special thanks to Joanne and Jenna for this incredibly kind gesture. This is a prime example of Nyirrunggulung staff looking after each other and we are proud to be part of something special.

We are all in this together.
