Nyirrunggulung Rise staff in the Central Arnhem region were proudly displaying their new uniforms this week, thanks to a locally owned Darwin company. Not only is the design fantastic and quality great, but it’s extremely pleasing to say they were supplied by, “Helping People achieve” (HPA). HPA has a long history of helping people with life challenges through the creation and development of employment opportunities for people with disabilities and facilitating supported accommodation and are the first ever charity organisation in Australia to be named Telstra Business of the Year. HPA,’s assistance has helped to build confidence and encourage independence, which has resulted in more effective communication and life skills being developed, enabling people to better manage their everyday lives. Nyirrunggulung Rise staff felt privileged to be involved with HPA, especially meeting the employees who enjoyed talking about their day and were very excited to explain the work they had been doing. Our team at Rise Ventures and Nyirrunggulung Rise are committed to supporting our community by assisting people in obtaining employment and utilising local organisations such as HPA and would like to encourage others to utilize our local talent.
