The Nyirrunggulung Rise team were at Bulman where we worked alongside the Roper Gulf Council workers getting ready for the wet season.
They gave us a hand with their skilled workers and machines to help prevent water and mud running through the shelter the community often uses for the church service during bad weather.
We also have plans of using one section of the shelter to grow seedlings to plant around the community and our work shed yard providing veggies for locals and start a new activity to raise edible plants and herbs.
Thanks to the Local Council always there to help the community.
